Design System

I was responsible for developing the Design System for FOSSIL's smartwatches, incorporating cutting-edge watch face designs and implementing an efficient automation process that seamlessly transitioned from Sketch design files to the live watch faces on the devices. This automated workflow enables instant updates to the visual design, significantly reducing approval times. The tools employed for this project included Abstract, Figma, Sketch, InVision, DSM, and Adobe Illustrator.

Branding App

FOSSIL creates watches for many regonizable brands including Diesel, Skagen, Citizen, Michale Kors and Kate Spade. I established the Design System to accomodate the unique identity of the brands while utilizing a core User experience for the app and features offered. These include fitness tracking, onboarding, watch face customizations.

Watch Face Customization and Automation

The hero of any smart watch is the watch face experience. I was able to establish a strict file organization and nomenclature of each layer name and artboard organization so the engineers could parse the Figma files and like magic, render the watchface designs directly to the devices.
